When it comes to Easter I love baking lots of delicious treats for family and friends. Along with the perennial favourites like hot cross buns and Simnel cake I also like to find new bakes to make.

With the help of a fabulous group of top food bloggers, I bring to you a host of amazing Easter bakes so that you (and I) need never be stuck for ideas of what to bake, at Easter, from the traditional to fun novelty bakes.

Simnel cake recipes 

Simnel cakes seem to be having a bit of a revival and have now become a regular part of my Easter. I love a bit of tradition.

It is my humble opinion that you can never have too many hot cross buns at Easter. Much as I love the classic spicy Hot Cross bun I also love to play around with different flavours too.

    The only problem with this wonderful list is that I don't know where to start! I'd say something chocolatey but that doesn't narrow it down enough! Maybe I'll start with Mini Eggs and take it from there 🙂

      Mini eggs is a good place to start. You are right there are so many great recipes here but my Easter would never be complete without a hot cross bun or two.

    I know, they're all so very tempting aren't they! I was impressed that there were so many different takes on the humble hot-cross bun! Ooh yes, those tunnocks teacake bunny tails are fab aren't they, so much fun and I imagine very easy to make too!
